DISTANT REVERIES
vapor
fog
mist
visible clouds
of
micro-condensation
invisible billows
of
faint recollections
trace ovations
of
intimate Love-Song
are tearful
yet tranquil
souvenirs
coffined within
the
forgotten cemetery
of
Twilight-Trance
suffused into
the
dreamy realm
of
Sleep-Mind
discordant cacophonies
of
unconnected voices
permeate
many cloaked
passage-ways
through Time's expanse
distant reveries
of
some-one
some-where
some-when
ingrain themselves
with vague harmonies
long-lived themes
that remain incoherent
to
here and now
are embedded
in Soul-Sirens
of
there and then
ambiguous memories
of
what once was
potential serenades
to
what now is
soothed and released
one
moment
into
the
next
to evaporate
the wisps
of
vapor
fog
mist

This is fascinating. I love the enigmatic style and the way the poem becomes the mist and fog it describes ... i like the ambiguity of it. Memory is ambiguous. It can offer comfort but it can also become a tyrant ... the interplay of memory and spirit can get tricky ... can make for eathbound in true sense ... wonderful, wonderful writing!

a drark gray wool Ambrose Fedora (rather a 'cool-joe'
wanna-be I'm becomming, with my long hair cascading

think I'll go out and 'lift the lid' off of the local park...and
