Did you ever , kiss the air in hope of what might still be and held, closely those long lost memories of pearls and diamond dreams that twinkle and glitter bring a wishful sigh Did you ever, hold your breath wondered for that brief moment if it was , all worth it feel the tears fall hot and seer the beating heart, soft pulse of the soul Did you ever, make a wish upon an empty sky needing only the dreams too return, another whispered thought Did you ever , feel me fade away needing all , but what we had filling quiet moments with hollow laughter as the fear of silence suffocates, that which once made us whole

If I ever allowed myself to cry, I would surely drown in my own tears.

If it did not hurt so much to breathe, I may be tempted inhale more deeply And feel the explosion of self will, Inside myself.. exploring my new ability Faith of light, instead of fear of shadows Where footprints, are that of an Elder, Showing me home.. Not of the demons, who have roamed, For this lifetime, within my soul

Did you ever? Oh, did I ever...Did I ever...This poem struck me like thunder...A wee bit artistically to close to my near reality...*t-he*...Poignant in it's universality...Fabulous S'firic offerings, lady!
And profound Sharonic gem you left as well, Sammy...Short, and to the point beautiful...
So, how's about some more, ladies? Sabrina

I was once the opal rare and unique a treasure you held, under your protective sheeth Now disregarded and updated for something new a new toy for her.. a new plaything for you where all is, not as it seems and I am still here, waiting along-side the phone and watching.. in willful silence, the shadows that play by the door
