 throbbing vein under skin smooth, heated blood coursing through each a knife blade sharp and flexing incision upon skin, without touch warm, sultry breath blows against nape of neck blade travels along spine .. tremors .. softly smooth touch almost liquid silk enticing, aching with need tip trails over hip spilling ruby red ash pallour contrasts as eyes roll upward, whites exposed .. breathless .. incision upon flesh deeper, drawing against muscle sinew fear inhaled and tasted sickly sweetness upon tongue blade in fingers .. taking sliver of life .. |

re-tracing of scars
downward
along smooth pearl skin
ripples
teasing the veins
encased
by sheath, fragile
torn
against bone and sinew
tears
felt upon cheeks
falling
as blade takes another
sliver
tracing old memories with the new |

makes me want to throw all the blades and knives in my house away...ggglgggl...
that's a good thing...it slivered a shiver out of me...that's what poetry does...
makes you feel something or react in some way, shape or fashion...
