She cries with the despair of a world From a woman to a little girl The memories she can’t bare All the pain etched in her face Feels as if she has fallen from grace The future is a past that cannot be repaired
Emotions drown her like a flood Sorrow and misery with no love Is there a time she may live again When she looks back on what she’s done It is as if her existence is a re-run And all she wants is for it to end
So I call to a heaven will you listen to me There is a life that’s depending on your destiny By your angels please guide her away from her fears Love is the only thing that will dry her black acid tears
She lives and she dies a little each day Escaping are the words she wants to say And she’s afraid of her own voice For it talks only of heartache A happiness she always faked And it wasn’t by her own choice
Abused for speaking her mind Until she thought the beatings were fine Succumbs to the slavery of love Lost all who she was Doesn’t think it matters, but it does Because it is you that I’m thinking of
She severs her sadness with razor to wrist Scarring the reminders of something she missed Her beautiful image now lies shattered inside the mirror Of a woman who was battered by black acid tears

Lucky is she, who holds such a place in your heart. This piece is almost as if you have been sitting along side of all that has happened here at my end of the planet .. thank you for sharing. Soul

Reader involving, poetical character study of someone close to the home of the writer's heart... May you receive your wish and she blessed be...
Exquisite, stark writing, otherwise... You kill with a quill with such skill, BNM... Ain't nuthin' like a poet that can make the stench of reality a beautiful thing, through poetry...
We've got some of the best nitty gritty writers I've read, right here on...in? this forum... That makes me grin like a 'possum... Rambling...Shutting up, as the kids say...LOL... Sabrina.
