i do not paint pretty pictures
of romantic romps

sensational adventures,
daunting quests, or life missions
in the big city or the bigger country

i do not seek your attention
your comfort your solace
in telling it like it is

it's far more complicated than that

i seek to make you feel what i feel
i want to make you hurt like me
cry whine and whimper like me
so i won't be alone struggling
at the end of this knotted chain

for i am misery, whom so loves your company

does that make me a selfish cur? complicated?
cruel, with or without intentions, even?

of course, it does! so, kill me.

Interestingly rhetorical narrative, Logic. Judging from the content
I think you misinterpreted my poem's meaning.

My poem wasn't about seduction, sex, being dumped or body parts.

My poem is one interpretation for why writers like to write in the "dark" genre.

It's supposed to be darkly humorous.

My Apologies Dog,

but the truth is, i had already written
the poem that morning in my journals
and when I read your's something
just seemed to click... I did not mean
as a critique or criticism. Sorry for
the misunderstanding. But thanks
for allowing me ride on the skirt talls
of your work. I really meant it as a
compliment, even if the fit wasn't
exactly just right... great work...
