Should have been a couple nights
just like any other couple nights in
this so called life of mine...but no...
I was in my sister's house leaving
uncounted for interruptions in my
sleep patterns...sad but entertaining...
He is M.J.
She is Girlfriend
And I was suffering...
He decided to wake up
when the other two of us
decided to go to bed...aww sleep
Girlfriend decided to become
captivated by the little shit M.J.
she couldn't even take her eyes off him...
He is M.J.
She is Girlfriend
I was getting pissed...
He must of felt like it was Disco time
to the left...to the left...to the right...to the right...
up in this corner...down in the other...bumpity bump
She was entranced moving right along with him
making soft little "I wanna play noises" rocking
back and forth to the beat he had going down...
He is M.J.
She is girlfriend
I was losing my mind...sleep deprivation...
He wouldn't stop his itch to great
scratching it as he moved about
writhing one side to the other...itch scratching
She wouldn't lay down...enthralled by him
moving around like a chicken without the head
soft noises becoming louder more needful...eck...
He is M.j.
She is Girlfriend
I was gonna kill 'em both...
I got up out of my bed made of air
turned off all the lights in the hopes
that this would tell them I was serious
But...they didn't care they were having
a party for two no concern for me
as if I wasn't even there...imagine that...
He is M.J.
She is Girlfriend
In my eyes they had minutes to live...
During this midnight fiesta both
my sister and brother-in-law were
blissfully tucked in...sleep awwww
They had no idea M.J. and Girlfriend
were driving me to the brink of sanity
making me envision deadly things...
He was gonna get cooked
She was gonna be put outside
I was gonna get some sleep or else...
But these things didn't come to be
only because they both settled down
he found a corner to curl into...to stay
She gave up watching to see if he'd
come back out to tease her some more
so she found her way under the blankets next to me...
Blessed be
I finally fell into
much needed sleep
on my air bed with
her next to me
he lay in his wood cave...sleeping it off...
He is M.J. my brother-in-law's snake
She is Girlfriend my long haired black and white mini dog
And I am happy to say that even after a repeat performance
the very next night that both of them are still alive...
As for me...it took another night after they had their two
for me to get some much needed full night's worth of sleep...
