;DGlad to see someone start a nice open community like this. I have been on Bnet for some time and have written poetry as a form of communication to myself and possibly others in a way of "emotionally" and "experientially" and even "experimentally" journal ideas, thoughts and those things that overcome the senses like a wave at times.
Dave and Sabrina. Thank you for letting me in and on here. One thing. Is there a restriction to content? Some of my stuff might be, well, between disturbing and vulgar to some for sure. The sign on thing did mention the instance of having some constraint against cussing and such. Just a curious cheerio in my cereal.

Welcome John, Good to see you. ;D I can certainly relate to writing as a form of internal dialogue and catharsis, and it’s often a more than necessary safety net. Instinctively I am against censorship and have tried to design the various boards to suit different temperaments. I don’t foresee any problems with content or use of language as long as people exercise common sense and good judgment.  The dark forum is where I anticipate most of the cussing to be going on so will place a health warning on the door. Having said that however, all words should be judged in context. We want to build a friendly and supportive community here where life and love can be celebrated. Welcome to the club.  David |

Greetings, fellow earthlings. As you both know, I'm a so called and self professed poet,
from Texas. I'm thrilled to be here, and am glad to see two of my favorite earthlings, here.
I write poetry, because I can't paint...So, I try to paint canvases, with words...And the internal dialogue and catharsis thing, is a nice plus...Great poetry house, David. I can't rave enough about it... Has a relaxed, let's just write feel... And that's a good thing...
