Just wanted to say that I will be logging off from this forum for awhile. I haven't been writing much lately, just posting my favorite lyrics. Which ain't exactly contributing much.
There are some beautifully written, finely crafted poems being posted here. It's been a real privilege to share your company.

Glenn...You're to hard on yourself, just like me and a few others, I know...Just having you here is cool...We don't all write at the same time...Or at the same pace...So, stop knocking yourself, and just hang out with us...Or, take your vacation and come right back to us...
Always blown away by your writing...Each piece you write is a keeper, not something one must consider whether or not to delete, like many of mine are...So, quit beating yourself up...Just being around other writers can light one up...Sabrina.

Glenn I concur with Sabrina... Your contributions in the fav 'lyrics' and 'poems' thread have been invaluble to me and turned me on to some stuff I never would have otherwise Come and go when you please, but keep your account active. David |

Yeah, Glenn...What he said...ggglgggl...Just saw a Gordon Lightfoot song I hadn't thought of in years, you left in David's fav lyrics thread the other day... Your writing style is amazing...It's classical and yet often wedded to a modern day edge and twist...I always look forward to reading anything you've written... And as long as I've been reading you, I've known you to be to hard on yourself about your writing...It's always wellpolished, elegant and eloquent...I'm amazed you don't look at your own stuff and see myriad, varicolored gemstones... Perchance you need to get your eyes checked? ggglgggl...Just write when ya got 'em... And if you don't, just hang out...That's what the rest of us do...Or me...I just hang out when I ain't got nothing in the well of my head but layers of dust and silt...I often find, even when I think I'm running on empty...I get around other writers...And they joggle me...Inspire me...Bemuse me into crafting something...Or bring in some of that Glennic stuff from the archives...I know you've got loads of poeming, we've not seen here, yet... But, yeah...Come and go as you please, but keep your account active... As there's no place like home or some ruby slippered quote or another... Sabrina. |

Glenn, just read, post songs, etc. Sometimes I get ideas from other's prose. I haven't been posting alot lately either. Just writing pure unadulterated crap right now. Think the cold/flu/sinus infection caused a brain funk of some kind. So just hang with us. Enjoy your work. Always Vixen
