Hello All. I'm Phantasm. You may recognize me from beliefnet, if you're familiar with the website. Came looking for a friend and found a community! I've been a longtime prose writer and poet-- being a full time writer is a dream of mine. For man cannot live on bread alone. He also needs reading material.  |

Sabrina!! So that's what you look like. Long time no see! I missed you. How've you been doing? I hear you made some sort of big move. New house? New town? New state? New country? Looks like you got yourself a new job, too. Wow, we have a lot of catching up to do........ LOL...Well, Phant, that's sort of what I look like...I've lost twenty-five pounds since that picture was taken in March of 2006... So, in reality, there is a little less of me to see...hehe... Yes, it's been a long time, stranger.I have missed yourself and a chosen few from the other realm...But, that's neither here, nor there...Just really wonderful to see you've made your way here! And Drak and Ash, too! ;D Sam, Bichsa, Longwalk and couple of others, have been here since we opened...Roadrunner recently expanded our house by arriving amongst us... I'm actually doing quite well, thank you. And hope you are doing the same. I did move...Left the "Dark Forest" and it's resident "Troll King", took my precious Ivy and temporarily moved in with one of my sisters and her family. I have joined the work world and am making my own money and am hoping to move into an apartment for Ivy and me, as soon as possible. And, as you can see, David and I, put our heads together and brought this place into being. It's been up and running for a little over a year, now...We tried to leave a bread crumb trail for those serious about poetry, poeming and the act of creating art and comraderie to follow... Good to know, you finally *LOL* found the path... Take care, Sabrina |

I've made some major changes to my life myself. I had to move back to my hometown, York, PA. Not exactly the best situation in the world, I'm living with my Mom. ugh! But, I have a decent job, hopefully long term, with a janitorial company. I only just started. Had off on monday. Only have 11 hrs/wk for now. A few more hours a week would go a long way to getting me back on my feet and out of Mom's place (which is an appartment, she sold the house I grew up in a few years ago now). Hopefully for good next time.
But, in the meantime I've been writing poems at least occassionally on Bnet. Been writing my books when I have the chance. Watching TV. Reading. Right now I'm reading two books. One is American history, The American Experiance; the other is a Russian novel, the Brothers Karamasov. Right now I'm at the local library.
So that's what I've got going on.
