Trilling. Trilling. Trilling. Lilting voices scansorially ascending, lifting scale after scale, to the thin, blue shell, of the domed heavens.
Nature's own feathered chorus and might I add, selected soloist, of operatic singers and divas.
Songbirds celebrating the dawning newness of the day. After the soft, dark music of the night has all but faded to echoes of itself. Replaced with notes of glorious light.
Not a single dime was sacrificed, to witness this performance. Nothing required, but a walk to experience this production.
The songs are already there. All around me. All around us. If one will but listen...
-Nir.

Nir, this piece of yours makes me think of the glorious King Parrots, which often visit my back garden, the males are of the most rich reds and greens, quite knowing that they look splendid and make a show of it, just in case any of the ladies watching.. failed to catch them the first time.
Bravo! Dear lady, I await for more . xx Soul

I have heard of these King Parrots from "down under" whom visit gardens, S'fir, through another friend from Ozzieland...And that they are quite beautiful to behold... We don't have those in my neck of the woods...Probably the most colorful bird around here, would be the cardinal. The most tunefully adroit, would be the mockingbird...
Thank you, ladies S'fir and DG. And Dawn, thanks for sharing an offering here as well! I love it...And say, from your lips to the ears of the powers that be...ggglgggl...

We have meadowlarks here that are the invariable heralds of Spring--more reliable than the robin, and with the most beautiful lilting song.
Nice poetic offering, 'Nir.

Thank you, Glenn. We have robins here, too. I don't know if we have meadowlarks, or not.

CHERYL! I reiterate what Soul said in reply to that comment..."small ? indeed not! you colours shine as brightly as the rest of us"! As I couldn't have said it better, myself...

I'll gladly do you a trade, I'm wishing for the cold whiteness to greet me in the mornings and the mountains behind my house, too look all the more impressive as the still coldness gives detail to their magnificant outlines

Consider it done...The trade...LOL...
Though if I had mountains behind my house, gracing my sightline with their beauty, I might not whine about winter, here, either... Winters are so borrrrrrrrrring in Texas...We rarely get the pretty fluffly white stuff that makes great postcard pictures...We get the ugly stuff...Freezing rain, sleet and icy bridges and roads... Or, we just get plain old rain, all winter long...Mud, mud, mud everywhere you go...But, that trade, consider it made... While you're here at my place...Don't forget to feed the dog and she answers to Kitty-kitty...ggglgggl... But she does...Sabrina.

Song of the dawn, alarm clock going off volume turned to FULL BLAST setting.
Fifty Cent in my ear shouting, "you'll find me at the club, pocket full of bud, momma i got what you need if you need to feel a buzz. I'm into having sex I ain't into making love."
Cut to snooze... Dawn blessed with the song of quiet peace...
