stars glimmer bless a vista interwoven with shadows highlighted by the platinum kiss of moonbeams...
night so cold the air tastes like silver on the tongue...
and just yesterday... we were wearing flipflops and capri pants while running errands...only in Texas could December be this erratic with schizophrenia...

Dusk falls smooth as milk pouring from a ceramic pitcher into an empty glass...
Setting sun paints the sparse clouds in a drifting quilt of pink, lavender saffron and salmon...
Outside the laudromat we sit in flip flops, capri pants and t-shirts...
Enjoying another schizophrenic January in Texas...

It's true what they say about the weather in Texas... "If you don't like the weather in Texas, stick around... It'll change before you know it..."
And this month, echoes that statement... Last week freezing temps, bundling up in coats and scarves...And this weekend, pulling out the flip flops, sandals, capri pants and shorts...
