sacred space... my me place... where i can disappear, without a trace...
without a face... without the need for mace... where i can disappear, unknotted as an untied shoelace...
where crocus, daffodils and tulips nod their delicate but stately heads, in the warm breezes of spring...
when tree frogs, once more, begin their peeping, in the riverbottoms; and winter's brittleness, is replaced with a delicious soft green wash of verdure, on branches once bare.
spring, my me place... where I disappear amongst the gardens, knee deep in sod, smelling the gifts of God... the fusty musk of the earth, the scent of green, the smell of white, yellow, pink, purple and red...
sacred space... my me place... where i can disappear, without a trace...

Wonderful poem with beautiful visuals, Sabrina. It left me aching to go find a place like that! RR

Ah, 'Runner...Thanks for the read and comments... Places like that surround us and live within us, when they do not...
