Air fills the essence within her fragile soul Earth grounding her unsteady tremble of existence Fire flames the dim light of her broken heart Water heals her emotional wounds that life has inflicted
Invoking God and Goddess into her sacred circle she cast God strengthens the courage she lost Goddess soothes and replenishes her empowerment She fills with white light and it feels easy to cope again

Hail and welcome to our alternate universe of poetry, Redrose!
Thank you for sharing your poetical offering with us, lady!
Well written piece, dealing with a universal subject: the quest of humankind to look beyond "itself" for courage and peace.
I'm not sure why you posted it on the Fantasy board...As it very much deals with the reality and truth of being a human...Might I move it to the Philosophy/Spirituality/Religion board with your blessing?
Make yourself at home in the halls of the 'Seasons... And post more Redrosian poems, at your whim and will!
Anirbas aka Sabrina.

It has a very spiritual quality to it... But, then again, witches are quite spiritual... But, no, being as the inspiration is a lone witch, I'll not move it...Or, perhaps, we could post it on both boards...All I know, is that I adored the usage of both masculine and feminine "higher powers"...
Looking forward to seeing more of your work, Lady!

okie dokie...I'd like you to leave it here and post it on the Philosophy, Spirituality, Religion board, too...I can move the piece, but, it'll take it from here, if I do...if you copy and paste it and then post it there, too, then it stays in both places...hope to see more of your work, soon...
