chill hand of winter taps bony fingers upon the atmosphere in the random form of thunder sleet
afterwards, a pall settles sound evaporates into thin air replaced with a weightless white void of thick snow
dense quiet reigns an immense, fierce entity unto itself
even the wind dares not to blow afraid to ruffle the magical tableau of multi-layered silence
but, I am not the wind I dare to powder coat myself making snow angels and watching my laughter interrupt the atmosphere in frozen lilac puffs

Thank you, Sergosa. We actually got snow in Texas this past season! Unbelievable!

This makes me see the scene as a child would see it. It even has the wonderful ring of a child's laughter at the end. And, like Sergo, I really enjoyed the refreshing snow this time of year. Thank you!!! Exalt.
