a wispy halo of golden ringlets
blue sky eyes round as saucers serious
butterflies light upon her fisted fingers
even the folk of faery love her

evidence of their visits apparent
in the magical sparkle dust sprinkled
across her pink as rosebuds chubby cheeks
her toddler's laughter music to their ears

beguiling, enchanting, beyond compare

this wee girlchild human in features only
with a soul innocent as it is ancient
her parents call her daughter, rightly so
having been instrumental in her birth

the folk of faery call her what she is-Angel
