I need nothing more than air water and the written word
Embraced by and embracing the peace and quiet
My spirit amplifies, floats in decadent moments spent in magnificent isolation suspended in the splendor of solitude
Embowered in a nest of quilts and quills covers pulled over my head
Cocooned from the world in my blanket fort
Alone, needing nothing more than air, water and the written word to heal myself...

Totally loved this beautiful example of solitude - alone yet lost in something other than the self. Many people pull the covers over their head out of loneliness, yet you manage to express the difference. I just love this.

I have enjoyed four days off from work that feels like this poem. One more day to re-ampilfy my spirit. Yay for me!!!

It's good to sometimes have time for yourself. Recharge the batteries in a way.
Lovely piece my friend.
