Hmmm. New board. I'm guessing it's less about poetry and more about conversation?
So what should we talk about?

I believe it could be helpful to be more.vocal about technique content sttle and even what we would like to see in other people's work....David is my favorite loving poet because he can capture something in an economy of words that I cant. It has bite and it has a hook in it and I believe technique and style or approach or mondset of how we construct is good geounds for talking. It would require is to be a little more vulnerable as I do feel some comments will be felt as criticism and it is not my intent to be malicious but if I am going to read what others write and if I am going to participate in feesback i do hope a certain openness and receptivity is going to be accepted and as I progress as an audience this year I hope I cause a need for improvement and growth...I have an idea people want to build something in what they write and as a community hopefully in a collective way their having done it here builds something better.

In answer to your question, Phantasm, this new board is and can be, about any topic. Not just poetry. Although, Moseley, your idea would be a good topic for you to start. (I do appreciate the praise for David's work. He is also one of my favorites! )
I reiterate, this is a topic board. One could start a topic discussing organic farming, for instance. Or initiate a thread discussing healthy foods. Or do fairies require glitter dust to fly?
The space in here is wide open. Fill it with anything you like.
And as always, good to see you boys here. (I will pass onto David, what you said, Jam)
