The Middle
Let me turn from my ego and put it behind,
out of sight and out of mind,
just stay in the middle and turn toward You,
the Good, the Right, the True.
Let my life flow in the center between
the outer nothing and inner everything.
Let it flow in the middle, neither left nor right,
on a centered path of a vertical flight.
No abstinance, no indulgence of any kind,
moderation in my body, toleration in my mind,
and adoration in my Heart for You,
the Good, the Right, the True.
