why is it, that when I close my eyes
my mouth starts smiling, much to my surprise?
There's nothing to smile about! I should be frowning instead
but I can't get this feeling outside of my head
I like him, I do
But it's shrouded in loss

I cannot let the happiness win.
My happiness is ruled by impossible dreams,
filled up with forgiveness and fairy tale scenes
It's stupid, now! Don't give in to the past.
I need me right here and right now, or I'll never last.
