the bottom note of the piano sounds, and i know i've given up. the sky above me is blurry and dark as clouds cover the moon. i cannot stop it as the rain and the thunder come pouring in. they were destined to come at this exact moment in time.
waiting. coming. falling.
until at long, long last, the rains pour down to earth, covering me wholly under the charcoal sky until all of me is swept below the murky waves of darkness. there is no hope.
there is nothing.
choking, coughing up the black waters of death knowing that soon i will breathe my last breath soon I will perish, and feel no more pain I'll stay here forever, buried in rain.
no one is here to save us.
no one will stop the rain.
it will go on forever, inside of my head go on forever, even after I'm dead move on to some other unfortunate soul until the final death has taken its toll.

How lovely and vibrant is this nascent beauty? Splendid dark drenched poemscape. I enjoyed the musical piece you added by this New Age composer, Adrian von Ziegler, as well. But, not near as much as I enjoyed reading your poetical offering!

Very well crafted dark piece cat plant. And the music which I assume was part of your inspiration for the piece compliments perfectly.
It has a brooding melancholy throughout.
You really should be proud of this one. Outstanding!

Sincere comments. Not everyone can write in the dark genre. You could say, it's a dark gift.
