For I am just a vampire,  

With much hunger that I fight,

Through centuries of bitterness,  

And much passion to atone. 

For all those darkest deeds of night,  

Committed in that sin, 

That took that love so far away, 

Now your conversion must begin, 

For love seems stronger than the night,  

As I hold you in my arms, 

But hungers ever present,  

As I discover all your charms, 

Perhaps it is too late for me,  

To change what I’ve become,

As dark lovers for all time, 

That smile so innocent of fate,
