The Golden Spiral
I contemplate Heart as space and Mind as time where selfless spirit and collective self both intertwine, one giving, one taking, one expanding, one contracting, like two polarities at war with each other.
But perhaps they are twins, two halves of a whole, one part joyful and open, abundant and giving, one part desperately grasping, pulling and clinging to turn and return all living things to their core.
Like a Golden Spiral that expands and contracts in a balanced and measured dance of creation, growing and subsiding, filling and emptying, ending and beginning again.
Note: This poem was inspired by the last two lines, which are from the writings of Chuang Tzu, a Chinese philosopher born over 2,000 years ago, a follower of the Toaist tradition, and a constant source of inspiration to me.

*CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!*
Your writing often has an enchanting, entrancing ambience to it. I felt so relaxed and hypnotized by the time I reached the last line...At peace.

How nice that you felt at peace, 'Nir, which I often feel when I try to see a bigger picture. Not saying my bigger picture is correct, but who cares. My Heart contemplates a bigger purpose for everything, and it feels good to indulge that kind of imagining.

Wonderful treat to see our Lady of the Heart amongst us and making use of her quill, again...Yes, more, please.
