there is nothing you have to add
nothing to take away
nothing to change
there is nothing you have to do
nothing to avoid
nothing to believe
nothing to doubt
except that nothing is impossible
if nothing is ever possible to sample, then it is something
what if God gave us nothing as a gift
and we could do with it whatever we wished
would we do the impossible
would we dare defy form
reason, love and all of it
would we forfeit
can we forfeit
can we be impossible
are we impossible
if there is nothing needed to do
if there is no one to be
would we go to be anything
or maybe better, go to be something
do we need something
or do we need nothing
are we ever to know...
watch those who complain on those who expect something
those who complain and weigh the morals
of anyone who expects and does not necessarily do the work
for if that person expects it strongly
everyone and everything responds in accord
they don't lose jobs
they don't lose much
but for those who repine
oh they kill the forest
the dreams of trees and fungus
the air to bath in because of life mingled in it
nothing matters most
because it is the final ultimate
then we, somewhere trailing
in the potential we often relent
as the penultimate witnesses to oblivion
as if we wait to have our bags checked
and we damn sure know there will be a charge for that

things emerge if you want them to
