John Lennon is just afforded, maybe too much, of having some great one line quotes. As I read this, one such quote comes to mind from auld Lennon boi,"time wasted that you enjoyed wasn't wasted time", the guy did enjoy a bit much of the LSD, but, then, well, I think many times, the more permanent form of ego death can occur naturally, in something the Japanese call "forest bathing" as there is something inside a well established forest that is more than whatever the trees, bees, fungus, buggies and streams and bogs and and pools can offer, somehow, they have this synergy along with the air, with all five elements(air, earth, water, fire and life)and when you give yourself to just experience it, naturally, there is nothing in the guilded world that can compare.
