A New York man has been rescued by firefighters and neighbors after two days trapped under an avalanche of newspapers, magazines and books he had been saving for a decade in his apartment. Patrice Moore, 43, was found shortly after 1 p.m. Monday in a 10-by-10-foot, or 3-meter-by-3-meter room crammed with paper and other detritus that completely filled it, except for a small corner where he slept, neighbors and city officials said.
