I pray that time will bring you healing
from the darkness you feel inside
those long, ugly hours
not knowing what happened to your child

Even as the dawn was breaking,
still not have a clue -
I admire your bravery and strength
too continue battling through
years have passed too quickly -
more answers than ever before
out of the blue there is a maybe
just a teasing clue
woman without a voice -
rings without a cause
fragmented information of the torment and abuse
of what happened to this child
merely given
too clear her own conscious,
never claimed too be truthful
never proven to be right
just knowing that all these years have passed
and now with added tears of anguish
still you fly without sight
you son now with the angels,
of this you have no doubts

It's based on the abduction of a young boy, his parents are close friends of my family.
He's been missing for 6 years now, and the likely hood of finding him alive is very slim
