Folks,

Our fellow member, mentor, peer and poet Nimbus aka Jeffrey aka Jeff, is battling spinal cancer, and is in excruciating pain at the moment and is dreadfully ill from the morphine based drug he is taking to alleviate that very pain...


I would like to request you keep Jeff and Ingra in your
prayers, good wishes and positive thoughts.
She has been by his side almost constantly
these past couple of weeks or more.

please let me pray fervently for the both of you as i hold you so dear in my heart... nims has been an inspiration to me since we began being pals in another site. we somehow got hooked on exchanging and combining our heads or hearts together, spinning wonderful poetry, more so, blending as cyberfriends.

well, bothers & sisters,
our 'Nim-stigator'
(just made that one up. okay top that one, 'Nim-ness')
he has been sleeping all day. had some soy protein mix
(of course, Double Fudge flavor)
tried to (sort of) flirt with a nurse early this morning
(yes, I noticed. I've got my three dragon-eyes on him)
My Mom and Dad tried to play Scrabble with him, but he slipped
into the deep, much needed sleep. They got him 2 stuffed unicorns
which were next to his chest when I walked in a while back.
(I left work at the studio early today for obvious reasons)
I'm at his place now, with my parents, getting ready to prepare a
lovely surprise for him; and he's in for a good one.

While they make dinner, I thought I'd try to leave another one
of his prayers that I wanted in my lap~top.
It might be a whole new thread, if that's okay.

I'm so very eager for Jeffrey to see each one of these fantastic
'love-note'-prayers. Then for him to make time to properly reply.
Each one of these messages is an amazing love-offering.
I so love how each prayer seems complete, with a feeling of 'wholeness'.
(did that make any sense ?)



Also, I wanted to make some time here to leave this heartfelt reply and say
thank you beyond all words.

hello all
I gave our 'Nims' a print-out
of this entire thread (as it is so far)
so as he wakes up later on
he can bask in all this delightful love.

He slept very peacefully all day.
And is doing much much better.
He has a few messages so I've logged in
(his name, he gave me his PIN) to print them out
and give him those in the morning.

When I told him about this thread, It brought smiles
and tears of affection and devotion to him. He is so
moved by all this; praise all of you for your kind hearts.
This will really spring him up over the hurdles.
