I walked alone
never feeling at home.
I strolled this land
trying hard to understand.
I was lost and confused
Your guidance I refused.
Then You came
from out of a dream
A light
to what my life
would be!
I walked alone
longing for a new road.
I crossed each street
always with the same beat.
I swam the sea
searching for that part of me.
Then You came
from out of a dream
A light
to what my life
would be!
I walked
searching for more.
I bumped
almost tripped
into the open door.
I glanced.
I pondered.
I explored.
Then You came
from out of a dream
A light
to what my life
would be!
You came!
I finally could see.
You came!
I finally found me.

Hey, Cheryl! A treat to see you hanging out and about the poetical establishment! As always, thanks for sharing, sweets! Hope all is well with you and you're just about ready for the new school year. Just purchased all of Ivy's school supplies, the other evening. Having a hard time finding uniform pants to fit her...She's tiny and hard to fit...Brat...LOL...
