The Square
It strikes me that I'm thought of as a square, I like a world with nice straight edges where The pieces of my life, sporting seamless flair, Portray a whole with no parts left for spares. Methinks that one might deem this life a bore And view this strange engagement as a chore While I've found it's transcending to the core To seek a sight that none have viewed before. When walking, singing, dancing on this globe, Perhaps you'll find such seekers, gentle souls, Per chance you've felt the hunger for this gold Which sprinkles down where mysteries unfold.

Thanks Nir, I tried to make a poem in the shape of a circle but it looked like a heavily damage pyramid, so I think I'm through with the geometry poems! RR3

I don't know about it looking like a circle or a heavily damaged pyramid...It looks rather, rectangular to me...I don't do poems that resemble the shapes of their content as in concrete poetry, nor do I do geometry poems, as I do not know how to set the keyboard up to perform such feats of magic...LOL...but, I do know, I enjoyed reading this poem and you're very welcome, Runner! Nir.
