You spoke to Me!

This is an old piece from long ago I wanted to share here.Peace to all!

When I was down
and feeling blue

When may day was turning ugly
and oh YOU knew

When nothing was going my way
And all went wrong

When no one would hear me
It was the same old song

I laid myself down
for a good night sleep

I called out to YOU
with words so deep

I nodded off
to a dream quite clear

I walked along
the rooms that were there

One filled with people
quite fair

Others seem empty
even bare

I wandered elsewhere
I didn't belong there

I wandered some more
till I came to a door

I peered inside
and to my surprise

It was the prayer room
that was truly sublime

I wandered in
with my little one in tow

I cried out to YOU
with all I know

I got up to leave
upon my closing the door

Who would know
there would be more

For
YOU spoke to me!

Told me all
would be alright

Then for the first time
I slept a long peaceful night.

All because
YOU spoke to me!

ALHUMDALLAH [Thanks be to God]
