Affection.
It’s not great displays Of affection that move me, Or the pondering of existential Matters that brings the sorrow
What moves me is the way You brush your hair, And sorrow comes with Knowledge, you will not be there, Tomorrow
Life is simple, We complicate the script; Missing moments of the commonplace, Searching for secrets Of each others hearts, Locked within a beautiful face
We stroke each other as we pass, Blissful with the sense of touch, It’s these little things that we amass, That ultimately mean so very much.
