hello, dear ones...
though I realize it has been a time-span
of a few months since my last offering
due to some other needed activities of Life
(or perhaps I should say in-activities)
I have been with you in Spirit. There has
been some magnificent material posted
herein by so many of you...as always...!
How wonderful it is to come back and be
so deeply inspired by all of you and your
truly splendid efforts. I'm glad for the
honor to be a part of this 'family'.
So...here is a completely new piece...
and another new piece I recently finished
being posted in the General Poetry forum.
(yes...actually my poem-muses wrote both
of them through me...in their usual fashion.)
I hope that they bring each of you enjoyment.
VISION'S PROMISE OF FULFILLMENT
I who would be solitary
soaked in soft silken vapor
of dream-fogged imagery
have chanced serendipitously
upon Vision's cloud-veiled promise
held silently within faraway-fantasy
copious faint auras of Hope
numerous vague icons of Wish
bid me further on to Love's lair
how chased and weary are they
for I have pursued them with vigor
tireless in my effort for acquisition
...
although not in vain or futility
my efforts shall now quietly subside
as I acquiesce to Vision's allusiveness
confident within my dream-wish-realm
of patience to offer its contentment
and thus accord me with resolution
...
calmed
by meditation
within my contemplation
...
lo I have at last discovered
these visionary patterns here-upon
have taken on new hopeful forms
Love's lair is become my home
Vision's view is become my sole focus
to perceive yon forms with purpose
led to comprehend these images
as Vision's Promise of Fulfillment
with Love's Hope of Completion
for as such...to my astonishment
faint auras and vague icons
now appear more tangible
...
where once they seemed
dream-realm-imaginary
unobtainable in reality
now in their nascent visibility
they seductively become
lover's silhouette of You
...
You
distant
yet ever-present
...
..
