i hear your whispers in the night calling my name
do i respond do i dare answer the shadows incessant call
he lurks in the dark recesses of my mind calling relentlessly
chilling haunting terrifying to this fragile helpless mind
terror resides within the mind beware what you call forth
it tenaciously clings to every crevice drawing me closer to madness
insanity only steps away i feel myself slipping into the vast abyss
i begin to grasp at every thread of sanity i have just to hold on
but i cant last too much longer the voice keeps calling my name

my strength is failing my weakness coming through he shows his might
