yes I admit it...dragons fascinate me.
so...to honor wistfuldragon and Sabrina
(and anyone else herein who has thus written
poems about these mythical, mystical, magical creatures)
I offer this brand new poem as my tribute
to their clever compositions.
(thank Heaven...my publisher
seemed to really like this one.)

once of sinister terror
I am become trans-morph'd
demigod to dynasties passed
now
sculptor's
subject
I am 'Dragon~Being'
then of primordial presence
I am become neo-paradox
epitaph to death's abyss
now
immortality's
talisman

fang and claw
dissipated
into
air and light
fire and wrath
diminished
into
memory and dream

I am
enigma
I am
eternal
as is 'Creation~Spirit'

Must say I've been inspired yet again...to write of tails in tales...
M'Lord Nims...I was giddy as a school girl when reading you were posting another tale of tails...(as I spin it)...and I'm heading to it right away...just had to tell you with a wet sloppy flaming kiss that I am mused by your words to try a few of mine...and to say thanks yet again for the kudos you've thrown our way...
