Serpent

Serpent wraps himself around heart
beat, becoming one with mine
Quiet, in his greedy assumption
that what I have, is for the taking
His scales are smooth and strangely warm
his head, lays beneath my shoulder
And I can feel himself, wrap tighter
against my hand.. bound without ties

Serpent slithers and tongue intervenes
counting each pulse, with an almost electric ~ flicker
Tongue against skin, raising temperature of hearts
his cold under belly, against warm inner thigh
A gasp, a suffocated sigh
losing self in between the moment, where light
Falters into night and moon
beseeches, a stranger friend
A howl of the wolf, echoes - hollow
in the coldness of night air, coming to resound
Against the walls, of the corridor

Serpent sings, his insipid song
calling my memories, I have worked so hard
Too forget, for so very long
his heart, now beats as my own
And it is his scales that melt as one with my flesh and bone,
that remind me, that eternity of darkness
Is now and always, will be where I call home

( and the dragon is returned, just because I simply adore Nir x )

stagnant
and stagnating

stench of your ever
illusive trail
of where you have,
encountered, the source of
darker light

remembered
and remembering

imagined
and illusionary

a game of hide and seek
where the only,
winner, is you
a game of Marco-polo
where the only bounds
are the boundaries
outside of
now

invisible
and evading

hollow
and echoing

it is your name,
I am screaming
lost inside the coldest winds
and wrapped,
against coldest of scales
my heart,
is beating as one, now
and that one
is yours

heart-beat
and heart-beating

interwoven
and interweaving

seething,
interweaving
serpents anger becomes one with mine
head drawn back,
awaiting the next attack
standing tall,
silently slithering against the furtherest wall
wrapping around the next victim
as fangs,
penetrate
blood curdles flesh-ward and spills onto skin
long forked tongue
trails
longingly
along nape of neck
serpent moulds under flesh
with his eyes now,
I clearly see
in dull lit passage and into shades of night
under sinew and vein
I am now serpent
and answer,
only too his name
