i enjoyed these poems, Nim! It is sick-sad-macabre-funny that the rules that are meant to be guidelines (in the absence of any real spiritual handle on anything and a complete deafness to higher vibrations, it seems) become tyrants and oppressors. What was only ever there to lift us becomes the club that beats us down ... very profound message unfolding here! But then maybe that is what it takes for rebellion to find its voice and shove the whole she-bang along some more?? *wry grin*

This reminded me of the wonderful Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Cartoon Hour that used to be on every Saturday morning!! Daffy duck-"I can take a hint. I know when to shut up. reminds me of instructions or warning labels you sometimes come across on packaging..
such as, on the front of a packet of peanuts " warning, product may contain traces of nuts "...
I envy the people who have these jobs, imagine the bubble of sublime bliss they must live in.
