Love.
Once laughing hearts ventured toward love, Determined by intent to genuinely reward love.
Beating the drum of rejection the music of doubt, Anoted the discordant rhythm to accord love.
Sinking sands of existential anger and retreat, Unbelieving human currency could afford love.
Turning to God parched with arrogant thirst, Through mercy of the saints they poured love.
Perspiring gravediggers toiled holy without rest, skilled in the arts of exhuming buried love.
Resurrected with the peals of celestial laughter, Zephyl heard a million voices rising to applaud love.
