Dear Poets of Poetryseasons:

I just became a member a few days ago. What a warm and encouraging reception I've received! I've posted a few poems which I hope meet muster and look forward to posting more. I've READ some really impressive postings. You folks are a talented group with plenty of insight.

My poetry usually -- but not always -- rhymes. Somehow, rhyming keeps me in check, keeps me focused, and usually comes fairly easily to me; otherwise, I tend to be verbose. But there are just certain things I can't write in rhyme.

I work out of my home, am full-time caregiver to a dear family member. Nothing exciting happening in that department (just boring medical stuff, which, of course, keeps me pretty busy).
