In my neck of the woods, we are experiencing drought. Some rain has fallen, since I wrote this piece, several days, ago. But, not near enough, to balance the scales, so to speak. But, we finally broke our farenheit triple digit hurry up and bake to a crisp fest temps. As a matter of fact, it's so nice, mini-me and I are headed out the door, for a refreshing walk, now. Can't usually do that, til 8:30 or 9:00 p.m.-ish, the past two months, here. Reduced to writing of weather stats and I call myself a poet? LOL On that note, be having a good evening David and poetical folks. Heading out to oxygenate my brain and hang with my daughter, aka mini-me...Sabrina.

Hahahaha...Admin Man...I screwed up, trying to clean house in here... Delete lets me delete, only what I said, not the entire thread... Is that how it works? I can't delete the replies of others, within a thread...Just mine, right? That's the way it looks, anyway... I've been combining poems from threads into one thread, the past several minutes... The deleting the extraneous poeming and the entire thread disappeared...But that only works I see, if there isn't posting from other folks, in the thread...Now this thread, looks woefully strange...without a poem at the top...question: can you work magic, as the Admin Man and make it all disappear? I so sorry for the inconvenience...Really I am...NOt...LOL...Nir...Help...

Summer days pass by quickly in this new state I live in... and I know I should be grateful... but the cold days of Winter are too fast approaching now.... and somehow I feel cheated of the beautiful slow changing of seasons as was my custom. Here, it goes from sunshine to snowfall in the blink of an eye, and Halloween's trick or treaters could be as easy in snow, as not. Through the eyes of a child I guess this could be a welcoming treat and surprize, but to these fading eyes of mine, I would prefer the sunshine!! Sam

That's beautiful, Sam. Ooh, you made me think of Hallowe'en... My favorite holiday of the over long season of holidays... As it's the cheapest! Yes? I tried to compile several of my threads about nature, into one thread under Animated Landscape...It works, til you hit a post, that has more than just your poem, in it... As long as no one else has posted, you can move a poem, into another thread, and kill the dangler thread, so to speak...I found...But, when I hit this thread...I x'ed the poem, after I transferred it...But, I can't kill the the thread and it's title taking up space on the board. Nirslips...I can make 'em, even in places you'd think I couldn't...LOL...Blessed be! Catch ya round the bend, lady. Nir.
