TREE FLOWER
on my wandering through thick shade of old forest I chanced upon a flower growing • thriving • blooming high on its eye-level perch rooted in the trunk of an ancient tree
I ‘thought’ a question to the lovely flower of why it chose this locale and its ‘reply’ was thus “my friend here is my oldest and most trusted companion • I know I’m secure with Tree”
the tree also offered to share a loving ‘thought’ “I still live strong as I do for my truest friend here in allowing me to offer shelter is sharing its beauty with me • showing its deep faith in me”

I've re-located this piece to this new thread for this is the very first poem I ever wrote (Christmas 1970...14 years old) now slightly re-formatted to my current style.
I hope it offers a deeper understanding of God's gentleness to each one of you.
INTRICATE SYMMETRY
... so now pause in silent wonder
as the delicate flower you behold gracefully shares itself ...
its color with the light its fragrance with the air ... ... ...
and yes smile in joyous delight
as if you hear GOD’S voice echoing from within ...
“Now Behold The Intricate Symmetry Of The Flower That Is You” ... .. .
