frivolous with sap
the forsythia burst with blooms of diminutive, hard yellow, soft stars
the bradford pear and the wild plum explode in a profusion of pristine white blossoms
the crowns of the ash and the elm sprout the peach fuzz of spring verdure
and i look towards the future with the eyes of freshly budded dreams like the flora about me
frivolous with sap
~Sabrina.

Lovely, Sabrina. I adore the phrase, 'frivolous with sap.'
