well at first I started to post the following poem within the GENERAL POETRY forum...  ?...and then I discovered myself questioning my own hasty decision ('what on Earth am I doing...?') ...as such here within this forum this most recent poem now resides (as well...it now resides in the hands of my publisher
though I'm not yet certain they truly understand its message)... |

TRANS CHRYSALIS ELATION

once upon a life
I then was Catyr-Pilian
determined entity
of Caterpillar vigilance
temporal identity
of Caterpillar acquiescence
...
forward on appointed journey
toward triumphant mutation
inward to authentic wonder
of cocooned transfiguration
onward to genuine splendor
of revived regeneration
... ...
whence upon my life
I now am Lepi-Dopteron
intricate design
of Butterfly sculpture and elegance
delicate delight
of Butterfly laughter and exuberance
...
on fluttering wings
of trans chrysalis elation
in aerobatic flights
of transcendent jubilation
through whimsical twirls
of resplendent celebration
...
of itself this is
enthralled caprice
of myself I am
enchanted simplicity
of True Self I share
entranced frivolity
... ...
visiting floral blooms
in fragrant rapture
kissing whispered breezes
in splendid leisure
perching upon you
in playful pleasure
... ...

oops...!
guess I shoulda checked
into my latest e-mail before now.
...
Celeste, at my publisher's office,
sent me an e-mail earlier in the day
saying that she easily understood this
poem's message (and she said she already
may have a new compilation to include it within...)
...
so just what was I so concerned about after all...?
It's rather obvious that I need to trust the Universe
and its infinite inspiration
a lot more...!)

butterflies
are the angels
of the insect domain

Regions Of Wish
I have pondered

if indeed
butterflies
are the pets
of the angel realm

while drifting through
Dimensions Of Bliss
I have imagined
...
if by kismet
butterflies
are the muses
of charmed lovers

This is the companion piece
(to the first butterfly poem)
that my publisher advised
me to quickly compose
(now let's hope they
like this offering)
