8.30 am Friday April 13th 2007: I took this photograph from the 24th floor of my apartment building (I live on the 17th). The thin building on the extreme right is Manchesters newly completed Beetham Tower and currently Europes tallest residential building It stands 168.87m (554ft) and 47 storeys above the city centre.

I know where you are concerned, I might be a bit prejudiced...But, I think you have a wonderful camera eye...This group has already inspired one poem from me...Perhaps if I stare at them a bit longer, yet another shall pop out of my head...
Oooh-oooh-ooooh, DAvid....There's an idea for a group project...Someone posts a picture on a thread and each person writes what comes from their head looking at it....

Some nice photos here, David. What kind of camera are you using?
Mine is a fairly basic Olympus (can't think of the model right now). I bought it mostly for the 5X zoom and the two free memory cards. For a mid-priced camera, it actually allows for considerable creative control. I'm reasonably happy with it. Some of the Panasonic and Sony cameras looked very good, but are fairly pricey.

It's a digital camera. HP photosmart 435 which i've had for a few years. All the photos on this thread were taken within a 30 minute walk of were I live, and I intend adding more when I get around to it

ggglgggl...I saw a round circle of wood, Sammy, glued to a board like twenty thousand years ago in a specialty gift shop, like Spencer's...and beneath the round circle of wood was this sentiment..."a round tuit".... DMcC's last line in his post made me think of it...
