Worrying about unknown Often proves to be Worse than most reality
Sometimes it does hurt to love The pain is always Worth suffering in the end
To hold unto someone close So tightly from fear Is to lose them in the end
Sometimes to do the right thing You might be asked to Give up on a splendid dream
Our own happiness in life Caused by what we do Not on others help
Learn a lesson from the past So that you are able to Enrich your future with joy
Most lies can be forgiven As our time goes by They will not be forgotten
White falling snow is Not so very cold As a rejected lover
To know about your future You would certainly Lose all hope for good in life
A peach is only a peach But you plant the pit And you will have a nice tree
We are only specs of sand Amongst the millions In our open universe

Sorry Janicemarie, haiku is about the only style of poetry I don't know anything about, yours seem to a be a collection of proverbs. Very nice I must say and I enjoyed reading. Katriona

Like you, Katriona, I do not know much about haiku and was mostly familiar with the 5-7-5 structure widely taught in schools. Turns out, there are many structures...Thoroughly enjoyed reading this collection, Janicemarie and would love to see you post more... Sabrina.
