Hello "Amethyst" here. I am originally from Michigan, have resided in Alabama for near 20 years. Mother of 2 teenage boys. About to get married May 10th to a NASA Engineer form Illinois that I met while working as a Barista in the coffee shop at the Arsenal here in Huntsville! He has a teenage daugher and son. Together we also have three cats. I have a degree in journalism and have written for newspapers in a freelance capacity. Have written poetry since I could hold a pencil. I am also a barista, as I have said, and a licensed massage therapist. Bum shoulders have brought me back to my true love--writing. I hope to be able to freelance full-time and make a little pocket money. Glad to be here.
