Thanks for the invitation to "check it out", John. I couldn't get part I to work for me, but, parts II and III, humored me and played most of the way through. A treat to see one of our poets reading their pieces in a public venue. An inspiration, as well, that will perhaps bolster others amongst us, to attempt this...Thanks for sharing! Sabrina.

I got a kick out of watching it, frankly...It was a hoot...I felt like a mother hen watching one of her chicks do something great and wonderous...ggglgggl...But, I did...
Cinco de Mayo, is a cultural celebration...Reverencing a time when Mexico freed itself from one foreign country or another's rule...I believe Spain? That is, if I remember my history, correctly.
It has become a popular holiday, in the States in the past what, thirty years or so, with the influx of Mexican people into this country. I found myself laughing at work this past week, as people, both white and black, with not a bit of Mexican in their bloodline, asked me where the Cinco de Mayo decorations could be found...
Gotta love Americans...We'll jump at any chance to party and get drunk...LOL...
But, oh how this lady loves tekillya shots, once in a great while... Especially Jose' Cuervo or Patron...

Especially Jose' Cuervo or Patron... i'm also very fond of Quervo and Patron (two rather opposite ends of the spectrum, for sure)...although there's some tequila snobs who really turn their noses up at Quervo. another one i've really come to love is the moderately priced (and difficult to find) 100 Anos (Reposado)john
