Just to let you know that my new book, NEW AND SELECTED POEMS, 138pp, Lummox Press, is out as of yesterday! It's available right now direct from the publisher at www.lummoxpress.com and also on amazon.com. i'm really proud of this. While they're billing it as a "career retrospective", i wouldn't go THAT far, but it does have some of my absolute best stuff in it, as well as 18 new ones! tons of stuff that many many people have yet to see. There's also a killer introduction ("Blind Genius and Wild Luck", by Todd Moore).
even if you have a buch of my books, i guarantee this will have tons of poems you've yet to see. If you don't have any of my books yet, this is a wonderful place to start. And, remember...it might make a great christmas gift for someone (even yourself!).

Since 1970 John has had more than 1,000 poems in magazines around the world. Many of his poems have been published in translation including Spanish, Swedish, Italian, Japanese and most recently Romanian.
