Many of you here have known David and myself, since we
gatecrashed one another mentally, emotionally and spiritually
at an alternate universe of poetry aka as Beliefnet.com
in the summer of 2005.
I thought you might like an update of this work in progress
also known as our romance. As of this month, and today, October
29, 2008 we have both posted the paperwork required to start
our request for a K-1 visa aka, a fiancee visa.
Our attorney tells us, it takes approximately six months
to complete this "mission". So, if all goes well and on schedule,
David and I could be celebrating our wedding as soon as
late spring or early summer.
Those who have known longest know this is an event we've
both dreamed of and planned our way towards since David
and I met and realized we had a "problem"--we'd fallen
in love and we were separated by three thousand miles
of land and water, thousands upon thousands of humans
and two governments.
Those of you whom pray and believe in the power of prayer,
I'd like to request you pray this goes through for David
and myself, to whatever god you pray to. Those of you
whom do not pray, I'd like to request you keep us
in your thoughts.
For if this doesn't go through, David and I will be
two extremely unhappy people...Extremely...
Thank you with all my heart to those of you whom
have listened to us and given us strength these past
few years. And thank you with all my heart to those
of you who will be praying for us, or keeping us in
your thoughts, as we enter this, the homestretch
of our journey to be together, in one another's
three feet of space, til one or the both of us,
drops dead...That's all we want...To be, together...
We are already mentally, emotionally, and spiritually
bound; mated at the soul. We just want the chance
any other couple wants--to live together and get on
one another's nerves...LOL...And to stop having to say
goodbye, everytime he has to go back to England...
We are so tired of having to say goodbye to one another...
