i sit by this river as it willy nilly flows i love the sound as it goes, i am sat on a rock in the centre of this powerfull creation, and i think of my mortality as the water passes by in the blink of an eye there's something new and tranquil about this river i hold so deep in my memoires, it was of a happyer time in my earlyer years as a boy with wonder in his eye as time past by so quick that boy is now a man and that river seems so small now not so powerfull anymore i wish things could stay the same for ever as a child, now i have lost my sence of joy and imagination because he is lost in that tranquil destination.i can not find that boy any more all thats left is a man scared of this altication wondering wht mite have been where did it all go wrong.

Good things in this river overflowing with nostalgic poignancy. Might I suggest you break it up into stanzas? As its laid out, it reads more like prose than poetry. I feel it could also use a bit of editing-- a word subtracted here and there and the spelling cleaned up. -beautiful river
i sit by this river as it willy nilly flows i love the sound as it goes
sat on a rock in the center of this powerfull creation, i think of my mortality as the water passes by in the blink of an eye
there's something new and tranquil about this river i hold so deep in my memories- of happier times in my earlier years as a boy with wonder in his eye
time passed by so quick that boy is now a man the river seems so small now not so powerfull anymore
i wish things could stay the same forever as a child, now i have lost my sense of joy and imagination because he is lost in that tranquil destination.
i cannot find that boy any more all that's left is a man scared of this altercation wondering what might have been? where did it all go wrong?

I enjoyed both the poem and the edit. Have felt this way many times myself, wanting to discover wonder again. RR
