Hi;
This is just a bit of a notice that this coming Sunday, March 8th at 5 PM eastern U.S. time that I'll be interviewed and reading for 90 minutes on the Jane Crown radio program. You can hear the broadcast live at janecrown.com. They'll also be taking calls for me at (646) 200-0176. It should be fun. I'll mostly be reading from my new book, NEW AND SELECTED POEMS.

John, I am going to miss that because of work..is there a podcast or something that will be saved? Would love to hear that... first off, the interview went great. i not only got to read a bunch of my poems...but it turned out that the host, Jane Crown, pulled up sick that day, and my publisher filled in for her and we had a blast not only naturally promoting my new book, but also talking about a ton of other topics like current writers we both mutually respect and also about the state of modern poetry and also about the task oif surviving and thriving in the world of publishing today (where poetry is concerned). you can find the entire interview archived on the jane crown website (janecrown.com)...just scroll down, there's a thing called "archive" there...click on that and look for me. you'll get all 90 minutes of what turned out to be a pretty good interview. i'll be doing another internet interview coming up in the very near future...when i know specific dates and things i'll post it. thanks. john |
